About Confrontation
Killing a monster in Confrontation does not quite get rid of it. The creature turns up on the other side of the arena, where a computer rival has to deal with it. The same rule works against you. As the two sides trade their unwanted company, staying alive becomes a race to clear enough room to keep shooting.
The little armored fighter moves with WASD, leaving the mouse free to aim. Money earned from kills pays for weapons, specials and power-ups. There is a charged attack too: hold the mouse button and release it for a stronger hit. It is worth learning where the shop and weapon controls sit before a crowd starts to close in.
Try Easy while you learn the layout. Normal, Hard and Very Hard are available on the difficulty screen, but a tougher opponent is not the only thing to watch. A creature you have just sent away may soon be replaced by one arriving from the opposite side.
How to play Confrontation
Survive the round by clearing creatures faster than the computer opponent.
- Choose Play Game, then select a difficulty.
- Move with WASD and point the mouse at a creature. Use the mouse button to attack.
- Hold and release the button when you want to use the power hit. Keep enough space around the fighter to finish the attack.
- Spend money from kills on weapons or power-ups. Q and E change weapons, while number keys 1–4 select a power-up.

Tips for a better round
- Leave yourself a way out when several creatures get close. Standing still to finish one target can make the next arrival much harder to handle.
- Check what you can afford between attacks. Buying a weapon is only useful if you remember to switch to it.
