About Tic Tac Toe
Tic Tac Toe is a small board game about placing three of your marks in a row. You can play against the computer or share a two-player session. Because the board is compact, one move can create a threat while leaving another line unprotected.
A strong move does two jobs: it helps your own position and reduces the opponent’s useful replies. Before confirming, look across the whole board for a threat you may be overlooking. The computer’s response is useful feedback about the move, so use each turn to reconsider the plan rather than repeating one favorite pattern.
How to play Tic Tac Toe
- Make a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of three.
- Select the solo or two-player mode.
- Place a mark in an empty square.
- Check both your possible wins and the opponent’s immediate threats.

Tips for a better round
- Block an immediate opposing win before pursuing a slower line.
- A fork creates two threats at once, but inspect whether the opponent can do the same.
