About SantaBlob

Santa has made a detour before his Christmas deliveries. He wants something to eat, and the sea creatures in SantaBlob are the ingredients for his dinner. The result is a bright matching puzzle, with fish in Santa hats, gift-wrapped creatures and a submarine waiting beside the board.

Look at the creature as well as its colour. The instruction screen distinguishes ordinary pieces from ones that have a coloured border, and introduces a separate set of power-up symbols. Those details are easy to miss when the board first fills up. A hint symbol is available too, which is useful while you are still learning what the game expects.

The menu offers Classic and Speed modes. Begin with a short look at the animated instructions before choosing one. Once pieces start disappearing and the board refills, give the animation time to finish before making another selection. It is easier to plan a move when you can see where everything has settled.

How to play SantaBlob

Make matches among the sea creatures and progress through Santa’s underwater puzzle.

  1. Choose Instructions on the title screen and step through the examples. Learn the ordinary, coloured-border and special creature symbols.
  2. Return to Play Game and select Classic or Speed mode.
  3. Use the mouse to make matching moves on the board. Watch the example animation if the first move is unclear.
  4. Follow the level’s progress display, use the hint when needed and check the special icons before spending a power-up.

Tips for a better round

  • Check the borders around a piece before treating it like an ordinary creature. The instructions give those pieces their own matching rule.
  • Wait for the board to settle after a match. Clicking through a moving arrangement makes the next choice harder to judge.
