About Tetris
Tetris is a falling-block puzzle where complete horizontal lines clear from the board. Move and rotate the incoming shape into a useful gap before it joins the stack. The real danger is leaving empty cells buried under blocks that cannot easily be removed.
Work through the board in a deliberate order. A move can change several nearby cells or block a later route, so inspect the result before making another. When a plan stops working, trace it back to the first change that created the problem. Understanding that change is more useful than a rapid sequence of guesses.
How to play Tetris
- Clear horizontal lines and keep the stack from reaching the top.
- Inspect the shape and preview before choosing a landing.
- Rotate and move the piece without covering an empty cell.
- Drop it when the position is ready, then reassess the surface.

Tips for a better round
- Do not hard-drop until you have checked the full landing space.
- Keep the upper surface manageable rather than creating tall isolated columns.
