About Power Swing

Somebody built a batting cage on a cliff and forgot the cage. In Power Swing you stand opposite another batter, knocking a ball back and forth until one of you goes over the edge.

My first instinct would be to swing as soon as the ball heads my way. There’s a reason to do that here, since an early swing has more power. The trouble is that you can be so early the bat cuts straight through empty air. Try making contact on the first few returns before you go for the big hit.

How to play Power Swing

Send the ball back hard enough to knock the other batter off the cliff.

  1. Click Play on the title screen. Pick the single bat for a solo match or the crossed bats to play with someone at your keyboard.
  2. Choose your character with the on-screen arrows and click OK.
  3. Follow the ball as it comes back across the stage. Swing while it’s still approaching and work out how early you can start without missing.

Tips for a better round

  • Keep your eye on the ball even when the eagle turns up. A well-timed hit can put the bird to work for you.
  • If the ball sits still at the start of a match, click Reset in the top left.
