About Monkey Go Happy 4
Four monkeys are crying, and the surroundings hold the answer. Monkey Go Happy 4 turns each small scene into a problem to put right. You might need to operate something, notice an overlooked object or work out why the obvious click has not finished the job. The reward is the change in the monkeys’ faces when the scene finally makes sense.
Pencilkids’ fourth numbered game has sixteen stages. Its opening railway crossing gives a useful introduction: a light and two safety barriers need your attention. One correct action is not the whole solution. Look at what remains unfinished after each click, rather than assuming that a moving object means the puzzle is over.
These are compact scenes, so take a moment to read one before trying everything on it. A repeated click is unlikely to tell you as much as a closer look at the surrounding objects. When you get stuck, describe the problem in plain words. What is waiting to happen? What in the picture might prevent it? That is a more useful starting point than searching for a hidden keyboard command.
How to play Monkey Go Happy 4
Solve the problem in each scene and turn the four monkeys’ tears into smiles.
- Look over the complete scene before clicking. Identify the obvious problem and any objects that might affect it.
- Use the mouse to select objects and operate the scene’s mechanisms. Watch what changes.
- At the opening crossing, switch on the crossing light and lower both safety barriers. Check all three parts.
- Continue through the remaining stages, treating each new scene as its own puzzle rather than repeating the previous solution.

Tips for a better round
- After an object moves, inspect the rest of the scene. The crossing puzzle demonstrates why one successful action can still leave work to do.
- If several clicks have done nothing, pause and look for another part of the problem. Repeating the same attempt gives you little new information.
