About Sanctuary's End

Town is a good place to stop and work out what everything does. Sanctuary's End starts with a hero choice and a small 3D settlement, then sends you toward a portal and the creatures beyond it. A sword swing is only the beginning: there are skill slots, equipment and potions to keep track of as you explore.

The first trip into Greenwilds makes the difference between travelling and fighting quite clear. A click sends your hero toward a spot or an enemy; once several monsters gather, that same click needs a little more thought. Don't let the friendly colours persuade you to stand in the middle of the pack. You can lose health quickly while deciding what to do next.

How to play Sanctuary's End

Take your hero out from town, defeat enemies and improve your equipment for further expeditions. This PlayFG edition is presented for solo play.

  1. Create a hero in an available save slot and read the control panel. Walk around town before leaving so you can find your inventory and skills without a monster waiting beside you.
  2. Move to the portal and press E when its interaction prompt appears. The first area is Greenwilds; give yourself some space when its enemies approach.
  3. Left-click an enemy to attack, or use your selected skill with the right mouse button. Keep track of health and mana rather than spending everything at once.
  4. Use potions when needed and return to town with T to look over your equipment. Check what you picked up before heading out again.

Tips for a better round

  • Put your first skill somewhere you can find without looking down. A familiar key helps when several enemies reach you together.
  • Take a pause in town to read equipment and skill information. A new item is easier to judge there than during a fight.
