About Pegball
Orange pegs first. That's the simple instruction in Pegball, though a crowded board can make the route to them anything but simple. You aim a ball from above, let it bounce and hope the shot has something left to do after the first hit.
There are only so many balls to spend. A long chain raises your combo, but don't let that distract you from an orange peg sitting alone in a corner. The moving bucket at the bottom can give you a free shot if it catches the ball. By then the aiming is over; you get to watch the result.
How to play Pegball
Remove every orange peg before you run out of balls. The other pegs can help you build a useful bounce or get in its way.
- Select Play and look for a line to an orange peg. You can take your time over the aim before firing.
- Click or press Space to shoot. Watch where the ball goes after its first hit, especially if it opens a gap through the middle.
- For the next attempt, aim through a useful gap or choose an orange peg that is still exposed. The board changes as pegs are cleared.
- Clear the last orange peg before the balls run out. A bucket catch gives you another shot to work with.

Tips for a better round
- An orange peg near the top of a cluster can be a useful starting point. The ball may work its way through more targets underneath.
- Don't spend your final ball on a pretty chain of the wrong colour. Check which orange pegs are actually left.
Questions about Pegball
Which pegs count toward finishing?
The orange ones. Other pegs contribute to scoring and alter the bounces, but you do not need to clear the entire board.
Does the bucket give a bonus ball?
Yes. Landing in the moving bucket returns a free shot. Missing it uses up the ball normally.
