About Boomer
At first the bombs fall straight down. Good: put a bucket underneath, catch one, move to the next. Boomer gives you that much of a warm-up before introducing the red bombs, which drop faster. Later come blue bombs that drift sideways and purple ones that weave. Following the bomber alone won't tell you where those will end up.
The three buckets are your margin for mistakes, rather than three separate catchers. Only the top bucket catches bombs. When one gets past, the bottom bucket goes and the catcher drops lower. The other bombs in that wave clear too. You can recover a bucket later, but for now you've bought yourself another wave with a smaller stack.
How to play Boomer
Keep at least one bucket in play and catch enough bombs to raise your score. Losing the whole stack ends the run.
- Choose Play and start with the straight-falling bombs. Slide the stack under the next one rather than waiting for it to get all the way down.
- From the second wave, watch for red bombs. They arrive sooner than the ordinary ones, so two bombs dropped at different times needn't reach you in that same order.
- Blue and purple bombs join later waves. Adjust to their sideways movement instead of parking directly beneath the spot where they were dropped.
- Continue after a miss with your shorter stack. When the final bucket is gone, choose Play Again to return to the first wave.

Tips for a better round
- Suppose a red bomb is falling beside a black one. Look at their height and speed before picking which to catch first; the red one may overtake it.
- The bucket gets narrower as the waves advance. Slow the end of your movement down; being almost underneath a bomb stops being good enough.
Questions about Boomer
How do the waves change?
There are ten bombs in the first wave, then five more for each new wave. The bomber speeds up, and the buckets become narrower. Red bombs enter from wave two, blue from wave three and purple from wave four.
Can I get a bucket back?
At each new 1,000-point milestone, a missing bucket can be restored. You cannot grow the stack beyond three. A perfectly caught wave also gives a score bonus.
